Nur was born and raised in Bogor. She has a big family with 4 sisters and 3 brothers; Nur now lives in a small, modest house with her husband and young daughter; many of her siblings and their families live nearby. Nur’s father was previously employed and my mother worked as a house assistant. They worked hard so the family could have something to eat and the kids could go to school. Nur is a former student of YCM and now works there as the project administration officer, and part-time English tutor.

She’s able to share everything she learned from YCM as a previous student to the current students now, and this brings her a lot of joy. She’s also very involved in Bogor Tours in general management and support. Nur said she loves to experience new things. She spends much of her time in front of the screen doing the administrative tasks, so being involved in Bogor Tours means facing different challenges and learning many new things such as culture, people, places and more. In addition to travelling around Bogor, Nur has been to Bali, Bandung, and Banten in West Java. Her biggest dream is to run her own business in kids clothing, as well as just being a happy person so that the people around her, especially her immediate family, would be happy too.

Nur’s favourite places in Bogor are her parent’s house, and Pulo Geulis. She’s very interested in the history of Bogor, in addition to spending time with family and friends, and learning new things. Her favourite Indonesian foods are rose apple and jackfruit curry!
