Fiqri grew up in Bogor. He’s the youngest child with 4 older siblings; he now lives with 2 of his sisters and his parents. Both of his parents are unemployed. Fiqri joined Bogor Tours not long after he started attending YCM. He decided to join Bogor Tours to improve his English and to learn more about Bogor.

He has two roles within the Bogor Tours team: as both tour guide, and as the accountant. Fiqri’s biggest passion is accounting; he was given a scholarship from generous donors through YCM to study accounting at university, so splits his time between attending university and coming to YCM. His biggest dream is to have his own business one day. Aside from learning about Bogor and about accounting, his other interests are in photography, sports such as futsal, volleyball, and running. Fiqri has travelled to Jakarta and Yogyakarta.

He enjoys being involved with Bogor Tours because he can explore and learn more about Bogor, get some extra pocket money, and meet many tourists with whom he can practice his English. His favourite place in Bogor is Pulo Geulis, and also in the surrounding mountains.

His favourite food is Rendang, and his favourite things about Bogor are the weather (as it’s not as hot as Jakarta), the food, and because Bogor is a good-size city – not too big!
