Endi grew up in Cilacap, Central Java and moved to Bogor in 2014 with his older brother, as his mother had already moved to Bogor searching for work. Endi’s father passed away when he was young, and he spent part of his upbringing with his grandparents while his mother was in Bogor. Endi now shares his time between YCM, Bogor Tours, and working part-time for his family’s small business.

 

His mother and brother sell vegetables, fruit, fish, and other uncooked food out the front of their small house. Endi joined YCM because he wanted to improve his English skills, and because he loves to visit new places and meet new people from different countries. He’s travelled to different places in central Java, including Yogyakarta, as well as local areas around Bogor and Jakarta.

 

Endi loves being a part of the Bogor Tours team, as he has the chance to be a tour guide and learn about tourism free of charge! His favourite things about Bogor are the surrounding nature, Sundanese culture and language, and the food. He loves soto ayam and mango. His biggest dream is to work in a big, successful company, and to buy a house in Bogor for his family.
